Home makeover industrial inspiration

When sourcing for items to add to your home there are so many sites and shops today but this is one that stands out in my opinion. It's a dutch site and they offer an amazing range of desirable stuff if you like industrial, old or new. Not a lot but it seems handpicked.

Wear a pretty dress and a smile!

I feel like wearing dresses! It's always so pretty to see a woman in a nice dress, yet there are few of us that actually choose that piece in the morning rush-hour. So, time for a change? Put a smile on someones face with a twist of color on an ordinary Tuesday!

Self control!

I took on a challenge the other day. For a long time I've been so caught up in my work, which I love, but that meant putting some things on a personal level aside. I haven't been taking care of me as I should have. Well, it's time and I have the feeling all sides will benefit.

Willpower, right?!

Louis Vuitton Paper Dolls

Oh, the memories from my childhood! I always played with paperdolls! I loved them and their fancy clothes and accessories; I simply couldn't get enough! Like I then, and now, can't get enough of fashion and style. I think I'm under a spell...

When my daughter was younger I drew paperdolls for her, complete with a wardrobe of my dreams and her fantasies. Dior bags, Louis Vuitton shoes and Chanel clothes. Happy days and lovely moments to cherish.

Now we can play allover again; In great style! Look at the Louis Vuitton paperdolls that just been released. The French fashion house collaborated with Australian illustrator Kerrie Hess and stylist Kim Hersov to design the (beyond) adorable two-dimensional watercolour painted dolls and their lust-worthy outfit offerings from the ready-to-wear icons and spring/summer 2013 collections.

You can download the printable PDFs of the dolls for free at LouisVuitton.eu and get stylin’ with the Peter Pan-collar blouses, slim trousers, sharp blazers and monogrammed bags. Lovely, aren't they?

Who said life is all work and no play?!

Williams Wreath

The hoildays are soon upon us and these last couple of days are very hectic. Yesterday I came home to a perfectly cleaned house. That is one of the most luxurious things! I just sat down with my mulled wine, very grateful and with the wonderful feeling of harmony despite the workload ahead.

Don't forget to exhale! Have a great Tuesday!
