A new hotel is in town! The Norwegian mogul Petter Stordalen has put a lot of effort, tons of love and a huge amount of money, into converting the grand, old post office to a magical hotel with a rooftop terrace that could be in a NYC hotel. Situated in the heart of Gothenburg with a beautiful skyline of the city and harbour.
The two chefs behind the Norda Bar & Grill are well-known Jimmy Lappalainen and Marcus Samuelsson. A casual eatery with a lot of influences from streetfood! Louis Vuitton & Marc Jacobs' exhibit in Paris

Seize the opportunity to visit this exciting happening, starting on March 9^th 2012, at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris. 

Louis Vuitton – Marc Jacobs, a major exhibition for the year which tells the story of both prolific designers. It is a tale of two personalities and their contributions to the world of globalised contemporary fashion history: Louis Vuitton, founder of the house of Louis Vuitton in 1854, and Marc Jacobs, its artistic director since 1997. Two innovators, both rooted in their respective centuries, advanced an entire industry. Two creators, each in his own language, appropriated cultural codes and trends.

Curated by internationally renowned fashion figure in the industry, Pamela Golbin, the exhibition will be housed on two floors. Goblin will be supported with the help of creative consultant Katie Grand and the design of the exhibition Sam Gainsbury and Joseph Bennett.

The show will showcase and show off a selection of Vuitton’s iconic leather trunks first made in 1869 from its archive; juxtaposed with Marc Jacobs' most renowned designs for the French fashion house. It will look at how Jacobs’ has done to transform the luxury brand into a fashion powerhouse since joining the company on March 7^th 1997. Guests will be able to retrace and get an insight into the last 15 years of Marc Jacobs’ most emblematic designs.

It’s a story of French craftsmanship, technological progress, stylistic creation and artistic collaboration, and will be a must-visit for anyone interested in not just the history of fashion, but the way in which a fashion brand can influence global trends.
